How do you explain the scientific rationale behind your product to healthcare professionals and patients in a way that’s equally appealing to both? This was the challenge set by CareFusion who wanted to drive awareness of the need for their (albeit brilliant) skin antisepsis product, ChloraPrep, in hospitals.
Our answer was to produce an entertaining animation that has not only captivated the imagination of both audiences, but was deemed sufficiently informative for it to be adopted by one NHS trust for its own infection control websites.
‘Welcome to the fabulous skin’ taps into the magic of animation – the energy and the humour – but keeps its feet firmly grounded in the realm of education. The voiceover by David Mitchell helps to add credibility without austerity, enabling us to convey the importance of skin decontamination to a broad audience in a memorable way.
